  The
performance of the BIOflame
weed torch is based on the exposure of unwanted
vegetation to the heat of the torch. Because
of this heat exposure, the walls of the leaf cells burst
open while withdrawal of moist takes  place,
which causes the weed to dehydrate, decolourise and
die. Also weed seeds, algae and fungi are not resistant
to of heat. By way of this kind of treatment, in the
event that new rising weeds, the underlying root system
will exhaust and the weeds will disappear completely
after repeating the procedure after several weeks.
 The
very practical BIOflame Point
and Jet Torches are by far suitable for local
and selective control of weeds on small surfaces, such
as terraces, driveway lanes and paths. With a total
weight of only 1 kg, combined with a well-balanced carrying
handle, these torches are manageable to virtually everyone
and make a good and comfortable alternative fir the
traditional potato paring-knife.
